Save the date for the 2027 Sydney STEM Teacher Festival, returning on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 June 2027.
The two-day festival will be presented in partnership by the University of Sydney and the NSW Department of Education. It will bring together teachers, school leaders, researchers, industry representatives, and education partners to explore excellence and equity in STEM education.
Conference structure
The festival features a carefully designed program with parallel streams tailored to the specific needs of STEM educators: Day 1 will focus on Excellence in STEM Education, while Day 2 will focus on Equity in STEM Education.

The program will feature keynote presentations, plenary panels, practical workshops, curriculum-focused sessions, networking opportunities, and a trade expo.
The festival will be based at the Seymour Centre, with additional sessions held at selected locations across the University of Sydney campus.
